Caron’s general purpose 2050 is ideal for internal and external temperature control for a variety of applications requiring heating and cooling. This compact unit offers consistent system performance with easy operation at an unbeatable low price.

Standard features such as microprocessor-based PID controller, easy-to-use QDC fittings, stainless steel reservoir, and redundant safety alarms facilitate user friendly operation and simple maintenance. Built-in handles offer sturdy, safe leverage for portability while vinyl feet ensure stable placement on your benchtop.

The 2050 utilizes environmentally friendly CFC-Free refrigerant and insulation, and is designed to meet NEC, UL, and CSA standards for safety and performance. The 230V 50/60 Hz model is CE marked. Caron’s entire line of constant temperature equipment is fully covered by a 12-month parts and labor warranty.

• Wide operating temperature range from -15°C to 90°C allows for a large variety of applications.
• Precise temperature control is provided through use of a microprocessor based PID controller. LED temperature display with 0.1°C resolution.
• Safety features include programmable high/low temperature alarms with LED indication, variable over-temperature control (factory set) and low fluid level heater shut-off.
• In the event of a power failure, non-volatile memory allows temperature to return to original setpoint when power is restored.
• Stainless steel sheath temperature probe, evaporator coil and reservoir with lid makes the unit compatible with a wide range of chemicals.
• The unit is supplied with front panel lock security to prevent accidental tampering and carries a NEMA 4X water-resistant rating.
• The 750 Watt heater allows for quick ramp-up times.
• Low fluid levels indicator light and buzzer tell the operator when to add fluid.
• Refrigeration on/off switch saves electricity when cooling is not needed.
