Caron’s new family of Environmental Test Chambers delivers more than accuracy,
dependability and high
performance. These 10 and 25 cu. ft. models are loaded with earth-friendly technical innovations that provide precise temperature and humidity controlled environmental conditions for numerous applications. Our Environmental Chambers are designed in accordance with ICH Guidelines Q1A and are ideal for shelf life studies, stability and package testing, temperature and humidity elevation studies and more.
STANDARD FEATURES
Unlike conventional steam generator humidification systems, Caron’s new gVapor™ humidity system delivers controlled humidity vapor on an as-needed basis without wasting energy or generating heat.
Our new gROD™ (Refrigeration on Demand) control system efficiently manages power consumption and saves electricity.
Heated, triple-pane, Argon filled, glass door meets new Department of Energy standards for refrigerated equipment. The energy efficient door heater minimizes condensation on the door for a clear view of your product and aids in temperature recovery (Model 6020). The 10 cu. ft. unit has an inner glass door and foam filled, outer solid door which work together to effectively minimize condensation.
Environmental Test Chambers are designed with energy-efficient components, including high R, CFC-free foam insulation, these chambers plug into standard laboratory electrical outlets.
Caron’s carefully designed horizontal airflow system generates evenly distributed airflow across all shelf locations. Temperature uniformity and rapid recovery are maintained even under heavy loads.
Dual display of temperature and humidity allows you to visualize instantaneous setpoint and operating conditions.
The 25 cu. ft. chamber comes complete with factory-installed, heavy-duty casters and will roll through a standard 34” x 80” doorway without modification.
The wide temperature range of 5°C to 70°C and humidity range from 20% to 98% RH offer you the flexibility to simulate nearly any environmental condition.
Caron's unique design includes “tool-less” removal of interior components which minimizes downtime for cleaning and allows you to change interior configuration to adapt to your changing needs.
The ergonomically-designed door handle allows easy access into the chamber.
Lockable control panel minimizes the possibility of unauthorized access. Two access ports
(one on the 10 cu. ft. model) make validation easy and provide user-convenience for connecting instrumentation.
Caron’s Environmental Test Chambers are easily customized by selecting from a variety of standard accessories. Our environmentally-friendly Condensate Recirculating System takes your tap water, then continuously conditions and recycles it, eliminating the need for plumbing in a water source or a floor drain.
