What is the difference between an Incubator and a Chamber?
The primary difference between Caron's Incubators and Environmental Chambers is that the incubators do not require the humidity capabilities that the environmental test chambers do. Another difference is that the Diurnal Incubators have a standard light tight door cover.

Are there any restrictions to where I place the incubator within my facility?
Caron's Incubators need a dry, clean and level area to function properly. Allow clearance from around of the unit for proper air circulation and ease of installation. Place the incubator in an area out of direct sunlight and away from heating and cooling ducts.

Can I purchase an incubator from Caron and have it upgraded with humidity at a later date?
We highly recommended that if you have the slightest inclination to need humidity at some point in the future, that you purchase the chamber with humidity and temperature now. This will save you time and money in the long run. It is complicated and costly to provide a humidity retrofit to a chamber once it has already been manufactured.
