CARON Products has introduced a new photostability chamber developed exclusively for use in European pharmaceutical and industrial laboratory markets.
The chamber has earned the CE mark for performance and safety. It contains European oriented components, and is readily available with control protocols configurable in four languages.
Marketed as the Model 6540, the new chamber has an interior volume of approximately 283 liters and is uniquely designed to perform near UV and visual light testing with fluorescent lamps in accordance with
ICH Guidelines, Option II.
This newest bench-top design from CARON allows programmable light and temperature, and can be ordered with an optional controlled humidity system.
Performance is managed through an easy-to-use microprocessor-based control system with color touch-screen interface and feedback system so that interior lamps can be programmed to shut-off automatically after specified exposure level or elapsed time.
Uniform light distribution and high intensity light levels permit quick response for forced degradation testing applications. Programmable alarms notify the user when aging lamps should be replaced.
CARON manufactures a complete line of environmental chambers with temperature and humidity capabilities from -20 to +80°C and 20 to 98% RH. For more information visit www.caronproducts.com, e-mail sales@caronproducts.com, or contact CARON Products,
