(Marietta, OH, November 10, 2005) Caron's new 6540 Series Photostability Chambers have an interior volume of approximately 10 cu. ft. (283 liters) and are uniquely designed to perform near UV and visual light testing with fluorescent lamps in accordance with ICH Guidelines, Option II.
This newest bench-top design from CARON allows programmable light and temperature, and can be ordered with an optional controlled humidity system.
Performance is managed through an easy-to-use microprocessor-based control system with color touch-screen interface (programmable in four languages). Interior lamps can be programmed to shut-off automatically after specified exposure level or elapsed time.
Uniform light distribution and high intensity light levels permit quick response for forced degradation testing applications. Programmable alarms notify the user when aging lamps should be replaced.
