(Marietta, OH, October 1, 2007) Terry St. Peter has accepted the position of Midwestern Regional Sales Manager. Formerly Caron's General Manager, St. Peter will be splitting his time between Caron field sales activities and serving as Finance Director for the affiliated companies of Caron's majority shareholder. Among St. Peter's key duties will be responsibility for growing Caron sales in the Midwestern part of the USA.
St. Peter joined the company in 1998 and brings many years of financial and management experience from Keene Corporation, ITT, and Hyster Corporation. He holds a BA from Eureka College in Business & Economics.
"We are very excited to have Terry in this position," said Steve Keiser, Chairman of the Board. "His knowledge and experience with Caron's customers and products will help us serve this important market and will greatly enhance our field sales and support coverage."
Effective at the same time, Keiser will be devoting more of his time to managing the Caron operation. "I am looking forward to spending more time with the Caron business," said Keiser. Prior to joining Caron two years ago, Keiser spent 24 years at Thermo Electron Corporation and its predecessors, as the Director of Operations/Site Leader for Thermo's Marietta unit (formerly Forma Scientific), a leading CO2 incubator, ULT freezer, and biological safety cabinet business; Vice President, Operational Excellence for Thermo's Bioscience Technology Division; President of Thermo IEC Centrifuge; U.S. Vice President & CFO for Life Sciences, plc; and other executive positions in Thermo's laboratory equipment and instrument divisions. Earlier in his career, Keiser was employed by Sigma-Aldrich Corporation and Mallinckrodt/Tyco Healthcare. |
